As part of programming for our current exhibit The In-Between, participants will learn how to craft an accordion book– a small sketch book consisting of either a single sheet of paper or a series of joined sheets that are folded in a zigzagging pattern.  After, everyone will listen to music and create art in their finished accordion books through painting, drawing, collage, etc. Taught by artist Diana Abouchacra.

Diana Abouchacra explores new artistic modes by engaging with the ephemeral, existential poetry of her sister Maya and spoken word of her brother Ryan. Diana is a Lebanese American mixed-media artist who works in a variety of mediums including printmaking, installation, video and sound art. Art making is an intuitive exploration for Diana, one that helps to process emotions where other approaches have fallen short.

All classes are held in the train station studio classroom. Do not attend if you feel sick. Please review our Registration and Payment Policy page before signing up. Email classes@windsorartcenter.org for more information.
