Panel Discussion – Arts & Wellness

A panel of professionals comes together to discuss the intersection of arts and wellness and the significant role that creativity plays in healing. Free event, donations welcome. For ages 18+.

Amy LaBossiere – Artist / Collaborator / Consultant

Amy’s art mirrors her journey through trauma and recovery, using fiber, collage, and paint to reflect on the healing process of self-discovery and transformation.

Amanda Mendoza – Artist / Illustrator / Muralist

Amanda (she/they) is a queer, first-generation Latine-American artist and muralist whose work is deeply rooted in personal healing and community connection.

Ira Revels – Digital Media Creator / Consultant

Ira on Renewal: “Exhibitions like ‘Renewal’ foster a community of healing, where we can share stories, find connection, and ultimately resilience. Through this collective experience, we discover that renewal is the hope we all need to remain steadfast in the face of life’s trials.”

Michele Fischer-Paul – Artist

Michele’s focus is hand-cut paper collages, photography and digital art. “My hope is that my art will stir the viewer’s emotions, allow memories to emerge, and invoke a ripple effect of love and compassion with ourselves and towards others.”
